About Me
The Person Behind the Work
I’m Maj Hoss, a marketing manager and multidisciplinary creative professional with more than 14 years of experience across marketing, web design, brand identity, graphic design, motion graphics, and video production.
My career has evolved from creating visual experiences to leading the strategy behind them, connecting marketing, creative direction, technology, customer experience, and business objectives to produce work that is both engaging and effective.
CLIENT GROWTH
Marketing Leadership & Growth
As a Marketing Manager, I see marketing as a connected system where strategy, branding, advertising, creative direction, customer experience, and sales work together toward one goal: sustainable growth.
By analyzing the market, competitors, customer behavior, pricing, and opportunities, I develop and lead strategies across Google and Meta advertising, email campaigns, creative production, digital experiences, and customer acquisition. I also coordinate marketing, sales, and creative teams to ensure every part of the customer journey works cohesively.
This approach has contributed to a 400% increase in the number of clients over the past two years, growing the client base to four times its previous size. My vision is simple: connect creativity with strategy and turn marketing activity into measurable business growth.
Where Science
Met Visual Storytelling
One of the most distinctive projects in my design journey was creating scientific artwork selected for the cover of ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, a scientific journal published by the American Chemical Society (ACS), based in Washington, D.C., United States.
The challenge was to translate complex scientific research into a visual composition that was technically meaningful, visually engaging, and understandable at first glance. The final artwork combined scientific concepts with visual storytelling to communicate the research beyond conventional diagrams and data.
The design was selected as the journal cover for the February 10, 2021 issue, Volume 13, Issue 5, a recognition that remains an important milestone in my creative career.
It represents something I continue to value in my work today: the ability to take a complicated idea, understand its purpose, and transform it into a clear and compelling visual experience.

How I Work
Problem Solver
Complex problems are often the part of a project I enjoy most. I approach challenges analytically, explore different possibilities, and keep working until I find a practical way forward.
Result-Driven
I measure good work by more than how it looks. Strategy, design, and execution should ultimately accomplish something, stronger engagement, clearer communication, better experiences, or measurable business growth.
Leadership
I believe effective management starts with understanding people. I pay attention to individual strengths, capabilities, and working styles, then align the team around clear objectives to achieve the strongest collective result.
Teamwork & Independence
I work comfortably as part of multidisciplinary teams and value open communication and collaboration. At the same time, I’m confident taking ownership of a project and carrying it independently from concept through execution when needed.
Ideas, Opportunities,
or Just a Conversation
I’m always open to meaningful conversations, creative collaborations, and new professional opportunities.
